1. The easiest way for mediocrities to come to light on the stage of history is to destroy the reputation of geniuses (“sacred monsters”). The more famous the geniuses are, the higher the rating of mediocrities will rise.
2. I find your criticism of Celibidache’s interpretations misplaced. What can you propose instead? Will you say that, in fact, there is no ideal interpretation? Then you will only confirm Sergiu Celibidache’s idea of music.
